Force 2 1st Day Collection, Day 1 Box Office Collections Report

Force 2 1st Day Collection / Force 2 Movie First Day CollectionJohn Abraham and Sonakshi Sinha-starrer Force 2 began on a low note with the film witnessing about 15-20% occupancy in theaters on the first day. The film was released on 1800 screens. A continuation of 2011 Force, the film should collect Rs 5 crore on the first day. Force 2 received positive feedback from the audience. Positive word of mouth can help the film to get a decent weekend collection. Another thing that can benefit the film is its angle of patriotism.

John and Sonakshi are doing high-octane action sequences. But will demonetisation have an impact on the film’s box office collection? When asked if they were willing to incur losses due to the whole issue of demonetization, John said – without naming Rock On 2 – that Force 2 is more massive and will appeal to a wider audience. He feels after struggling against the tightening of the currency, Force 2 will give the audience a break and help them relax, because the film slips just by two and a half hours due to its astonishing pace and action.

Distributor Akshaye Rathi also seems to have hope. “The #Monetization impact on movies is a suddenly failed theory! Look at the # Force2 collections and you’ll know what I mean!”, Akshaye Rathi shared on Twitter. Force 2 and Tum Bin 2 started on a bad note at the Indian box office on the first day. The film collection of John Abraham is larger than that of Neha Sharma’s film on opening day. Force 2 and Tum Bin 2 are sequels of successful films and the success of prequels has created a lot of hype for both films. The manufacturers of both had a good amount of advertising for them and their promos had also garnered a lot of public attention for the movies. Both were supposed to get a good opening at the box office.
