IBPS RRB Office Assistant Exam 2016 Results, Cutoff Marks, Merit List
IBPS Office Assistant Exam (preliminary) took place on November 12, 13 and 19. Several lakh aspirants have taken the online exam with a goal to pass through the selection process which includes an upcoming main online exam. Candidates who have qualified in the preliminary examination will be called for the main examination to be held next month. In September, IBPS issued a CWE RRB-V Recruitment Notification to fill the vacancies of “A” and “B” Group vacancies on behalf of 56 regional rural banks. In addition to the 7,736 agent positions (Scales I, II and III), there are a total of 8,824 vacant office assistants (polyvalent) who will be filled through the ERC RRB-V . The selection process to fill the vacancies of the Office Assistant includes a preliminary review and a main review. There will be no interviews for Group B positions and provisional assignment will be made on the basis of the candidates’ performance in the main examination.
The preliminary examination consisted of two sections, each with 40 points. Candidates who obtain the minimum cut scores in both sections will be pre-selected for the main examination to be held on December 18, 2016. The preliminary examination was moderate, hence the thresholds may range from 50 to 60 Notes. The exact cut-out will be available when the outcome of the office worker is announced.
The first week of December, qualified candidates will receive a letter of appeal that includes five sections: Reasoning, Numerical Capacity, General Knowledge, Hindi / English Knowledge and Computer Knowledge. Each section would carry 40 questions and the total test would be 200 points. Candidates who qualify each section (test) of the main examination by obtaining minimum break points will be considered for provisional assignment.
With regard to the current recruitment process, the preliminary examination was carried out only for staff and clerical positions. The result of the Scale-I Officer Exam (preliminary) was announced after 8 days of completion of the examination and the same trend followed this time the results were released within 8-9 days.
