UPSC Engineering Services Final Result 2016 / UPSC IES ESE Result 2016 : The Public Service Commission of the Union (UPSC) has declared the final result of the 2016 Engineering Services Review. Candidates can log on to the official Commission website to see the list of all selected candidates . The results are based on the final results of the written examinations held in May and the interviews for the personality test which were conducted in September-November. The list was made on the basis of merit. All examinations took place in 2016.

The total number of candidates recommended for civil engineering after passing the written test is 225. This figure is 179 for mechanics, 106 for electricity and 94 for electronics and telecommunications engineering. The total number of candidates who passed the 2016 engineering review is 604. The total number of vacancies was 676. The UPSC stated that appointments should be made based on ranks and positions Vacancies available.
