This most anticipated film was released as Republic deal to fans and the public on January 25, made good collections at the box office in eight days. Within 6 days, Raees has already collected crossed Rs 100 crores on the domestic market. This is the seventh SRK film to cross Rs 100 crores, In the past – Ra. Film open to mixed reviews, but the collections have not witnessed a major fall. He gathered Raees Wed Rs20.42 crores, Sun 26.30 crores, Fri 13.11 crores, Sat 15.61 crores, sun 17.80 crores, Mon 8.25 crores and Tue 7.52 crores. Total, he collected Rs 109.1 crores until Tuesday. Trade analyst Ramesh Bala tweeted, “#Raes collected ₹ 8.25 Cr on Monday 30 January and ₹ 7.52 Cr on Tuesday (January 31st) taking the #India Nett 1 st week Total ₹ 109.01 Cr”.

Raees faces a confrontation with Hrithik Roshan-starrer Kaabil, who also released on the same day. Both films opened a day before the Republic Day and eat the benefits of the other. However, Kaabil fell back with Rs 79.6 crore earned until Tuesday. Raees also hit Rs. 45.63 crore brut winning in the overseas market in the first four days of its release. Raees is an action crime thriller, set in the context of Gujarat in the 1980s. Directed by Rahul Dholakia and produced by Gauri Khan, Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under their Red Chillies Entertainment and Excel Entertainment banners. The SRK starrer has Gathered appreciation from all quarters and the young man’s angry look of the superstar won several hearts. Mahira Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui are also part of the film Rahul Dholakia.
